Common side effects of Harvoni

Harvoni is one of the common medicines used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C. It is the market name for the combination of two drugs, namely, Ledipasvir and Sofosbuvir.
Each tablet of Harvoni is composed of 90 mg of Ledipasvir and 400 mg of Sofosbuvir. Both Ledipasvir and Sofosbuvir are enzyme inhibitors. Harvoni is a direct-acting antiviral agent that is given in fixed doses.
It is one of the most effective medicines for Hepatitis C with curing rates as high as 94-99%. It is at times given in a combination therapy along with another drug known as Ribavirin.
